The 7 - story cultural complex covers a variety of genres from photograhy. comics, literature, independence movie, performance and design in its movie ehater, perfoming hall, gallery and art market, the live hall of the two vasement levels hosts a standing perfomance. The cafe on the sixth floor give a relaxing moment with music sounds. Sangsang Madang is surely a miniature of Hongik Univ. area
Ssamzie Space
Ssamzie Space gave Hongdae Univ. Are an aura of "art" of cultural space of a gallery on the first to third floors and a studio ofr artists on the fourth ro sixth floors. On the second floor. there is a performing hall "Ssam"

A unique theme cafe which becomes an exhibit hall for designers and a get- together place for musicians, publishing people and film artists.
Hongik Univ. Free Market.
Don't get confused with flea market. Hongik Univ. Free Market is not the bazaar wher poeple trade antiques neglected at home. Free Market is an art market where artist meet with the public and communicate through their artworks. Artists show their unique style to the audiences and the public appreciate and parchase the art. Since it opended in June 2002 for the first time, it now opens every Saturday and attracts ever more people.
